Calendars can be a good fund-raiser for your school and at the same time help celebrate children's birthdays.

Schools firstly ask the parents for permission to allow photographs to be taken of their children. A permission slip should be signed by all parents/carers. Children are photographed with others for the respective month of the year, eg: all children with January birthdays are shown on the January page, and this same pattern should follow through the rest of the year.

There is a front cover (250gsm gloss or silk), followed by 12 pages (150gsm gloss or silk), printed full colour one side. The back cover is 350gsm, matt, unprinted.

At the top is a thumb cut, with square punched holes and attached are 2 white wires with a white calendar hanger.

Schools usually do their own photography and artwork. (The file size of each photograph should not exceed 1MB). If going for a half A3 sized (A4 or 14.85cm x 42 cm - a long calendar), the originators will need to place 2 January pages, side by side on the canvas to be printed, as we always print A3, then cut two out (to reduce the cost to yourselves).
